Scheid Vineyards, one of the largest and well-known vintners on the Central Coast needed a new building to house their state-of-the-art bottling line and dry goods storage facility. Please take a moment to watch this amazing process with the time lapse video showing the process of creating this 45,000 square foot pre-manufactured metal building that includes insulated panels and a wood frame structure. In construction you have to be prepared for anything, and on this project we had to build the foundation during a particularly rainy time on the Peninsula (which we don’t get enough of!). But as you can see in the video, the foundation came out perfectly. An interesting note is that the bolts and knife plates on the redwood trellis are all concealed.
